Delta Air Lines launched a new daily nonstop from Salt Lake City to Seoul on June 12, 2025, enabling one-stop travel from Salt Lake City to dozens of Asian destinations including Bali, Indonesia.

Travelers from SLC to Seoul save at least 3 hours of travel time compared with connecting in Seattle or San Francisco. The year-round daily nonstop to Seoul solidifies Delta’s commitment to making SLC an international hub, with flights to Lima, Peru set to start in December 2025.

Passengers connecting onward at Incheon Airport can take advantage of fast international-to-international connections, with only 45 minutes required between flights.

Delta uses its premier A350-900 aircraft on SLC-ICN, with 190 seats in Delta Main (Economy), 36 seats in Delta Comfort, 48 seats in Delta Premium Select and 32 suites in Delta One with lie-flat beds. Economy seats offer a reasonable 31-32 inches of seat pitch.

International Delta Main (Economy) meal service features a three-course menu and a full selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including spirits.

The timing of the outbound flight isn’t ideal in terms of minimizing jet lag (the mid-morning departure makes for an extra-long day), but it’s handy for connecting to onward flights such as Korean Air’s flights to Bali. Returning to Salt Lake City, the evening departure time is better for encouraging sleep and helping passengers get readjusted to US Mountain time.
